Snow, Snow, Snow and more Snow!

When will this snow end. I spent the better part of 2 days
shoveling, one storm after another. This is the view from
the corner of my street. I guess this should
have been the year I invested in a snowblower!

Looks are Deceiving

The music that was heard coming from these broken down and beat up instruments was amazing.
As I strolled the street of New Orleans looking for photo ops,
I was delighted to hear the sounds.

Zulu 100th Celebration

This past weekend I was in New Orleans with a few friends on a photo excursion.

I was lucky to run into members of the Zulu club. Several generations of families, a handful of warriors and dozens of proud Zulu club members marched and second-lined through the French Quarter on Saturday afternoon to mark the opening of a museum exhibit dedicated to their history.

Another Stormy Day

Waiting on snow, sleet, rain and ice.
This weather is great for picture taking,
but driving in this mess is a royal pain!

Garage

I am so glad I have a driveway and a
garage! I am not sure I could ever leave my car
on the street and not move it till Spring
just to secure a parking spot! I love to drive.
My daily commute is a little over 100 miles.
When I get home I don't worry if my space has been
claimed with a chair, bucket or broom.
