World's Worst Blogger

Ok..... I know I am the worst blogger in the history of blogging.  I am reminded of this fact frequently by

nasty phone calls and emails from friends, not clients!  My clients always receive their images in a timely manner.  I just don't always post it here!  

So here is a rundown of what I have been up to and where I have been the past few months.

December was a blur.... lots of holiday cards and newborn pics.  

January started off fantastic!  I spent a week in Havana, Cuba on a photo workshop with Peter Turnley. 

February I was off to Las Vegas for a week to attend the WPPI conference with my friend and assistant, Sue.  Awesome time! 

March I was  busy with school, a wedding and working on wedding albums. 

April was another busy month with school and a trip to Nashville. 

May finds me busy with portraits, newborns and re-orders.  Finally,  I can post a few images of the 

adorable Mattie Cataldo. 

Last Thursday I met with Matt and Meg (former wedding clients) at their new home to photograph their 

new baby girl.  She was awesome!  Here are a few images that make me smile!  The end of our 

session had a little different feeling due to diaper issues.  I will keep the details to your imagination!!!

The Talarico Family

A few weeks back I spent the late afternoon photographing the Talarico family. How cute are they?I have known Vinnie and Lisa for a very long time.It was great working with them and their adorable

children Matt, Elyse and Nina .

Model Shoot in NYC

Susan and I spent the day in NYC for a workshop on lighting and  shooting models. It was great and very informative, but the real excitement for me was happening out  on the streets of  New York city .  Occupy Wall Street was having a rally just as we exited the workshop. Here are a few of the images I was able to capture.

Where Did The Weekend Go?

October continues to be a very hectic and busy month. This weekend I spent Friday night and 

Saturday in New York City.  Saturday was jammed backed with a photo workshop sponsored by 

Sigma. The workshop began at 8 AM and went until 4PM.  We would have loved to stay in the city another day but I had scheduled a maternity shoot for 10 AM in Easton and at 3 PM engagement in Boston.

What was I thinking?  I was thinking weather!  Sunday was a beautiful day and we may not have 

many more good weather days.  Annmarie, Craig and Brady were fantastic.  I was planning for a difficult morning after hearing so many horror stories about Brady (the dog).  Craig arrived a few minutes earlier in a different car than Annmarie because Brady is not allowed in her vehicle.   I began to think this was not going to be FUN!  Brady  turned out to be a great model--I think he actually enjoyed getting his photo taken!  Here is a quick peek at the morning:

Back in the car and heading up North to pick up Susan and then onto Charlestown to meet up
with Monica and Ernie, our Everett natives.  Monica is a colleague of ours and we were trying to guess what Ernie would look like (C'mon! As photographers, we need to infuse a little fun while we wait for the clients to arrive).  Ernie was adorable, though we predicted him to be short, with dark curly hair! (Sue does prefer a "ginger" so the outcome was a bonus!).

We love a bride who comes prepared with touch-up supplies:  hair spray, make up baggie, clutch that weighs 100 pounds! Looking forward to the big day.
