Sunday Brunch

Today I had the pleasure of attending Allison & Gregg's
Bridal Shower. The DiNardo's hosted the event at their
home. I truely love attending gatherings held in the home.
This is the place where family life begins.
The surprise on Allison's face was priceless!
My best wishes are extended to the happy couple.

Look At Me

Catherine is no stranger to the mirror! She loves looking at herself.

We catch her gazing into any type of glass that will reflect her

image. She gets her modesty from her Dad!

This is Catherine's latest idea for posing. She brings her own

wardrobe and props now.

Catherine wants to be in total control, much like her Aunts. She is taking her own pictures now.

Yesterday she allowed Cooper to use her dog for 1 second while she snapped this photo.

Not bad for 4!

Here's my budding photographer working with her stuffed friend.

Apparently he was not cooperating. (I wonder where she's heard

that!) She tied her pet to the window so he would not move.

The Girls of New Orleans

Here are a few photos of the girls I traveled with in New Orleans.
Thanks Dorie for the invite. I wish I had been able to spend more
time with YOU ALL!

Snow, Snow, Snow and more Snow!

When will this snow end. I spent the better part of 2 days
shoveling, one storm after another. This is the view from
the corner of my street. I guess this should
have been the year I invested in a snowblower!

Looks are Deceiving

The music that was heard coming from these broken down and beat up instruments was amazing.
As I strolled the street of New Orleans looking for photo ops,
I was delighted to hear the sounds.

WNYC Street Shots: Joe Wigfall

This video by Joe Wigfall is great. I enjoy
street photography just as much Joe. It is a great feeling to capture images while
exploring the street of a new city. Joe's
love for photography is obvious in this
short clip. Enjoy!

STREET PHOTOGRAPHY

I love these photos I captured on the streets of New Orleans.

Zulu 100th Celebration

This past weekend I was in New Orleans with a few friends on a photo excursion.
I was lucky to run into members of the Zulu club. Several generations of families, a handful of warriors and dozens of proud Zulu club members marched and second-lined through the French Quarter on Saturday afternoon to mark the opening of a museum exhibit dedicated to their history.

Another Stormy Day

Waiting on snow, sleet, rain and ice.
This weather is great for picture taking,
but driving in this mess is a royal pain!

Garage

I am so glad I have a driveway and a
garage! I am not sure I could ever leave my car
on the street and not move it till Spring
just to secure a parking spot! I love to drive.
My daily commute is a little over 100 miles.
When I get home I don't worry if my space has been
claimed with a chair, bucket or broom.

Life. Live It Well.

This little clip seems to say it all! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. It
certainly seems apprropriate as we start
the New Year.

Imagination

With every snowstorm comes a snowman.
This little guy may not look so cool, but he was
created with great imagination from a cute 4 year old.
The pencil we draw with became the snowman's nose, the branches
that had fallen from the storm were used as arms and M&M's for
eyes.

Saturday Sleepover

The big sleepover requires lots of reading, candy
and games! Patriot Jenga was the game tonight.

Early Saturday Morning

Spent the early morning hours taking photos of Beacon Hill

and the surrounding area. It was great no traffic, very few people

and parking galore! I highly recommend it.

Small Wonder

There is nothing more precious than a baby. I love
looking at their tiny little hands and feet. It is so amazing
to see this little wonder.
Today I had lunch with a few special friends and the latest
addition to their family baby Luke!
Lunch was great and company even better.
I hope to meet up with Luke and his family soon
so I can show you just how cute this little guy is!

No surprise.......
Catherine is my First Photo of the Day for 2009.
Something about kids and snow!
The temperature here was in the teens but felt like
below zero with wind chill.

Photographing Catherine & Cooper
is not as easy as it appears!
All my nieces and newphews have been great
models.

Just one word TROUBLE!
Cooper is 2 and no doubt trying to perfect the saying
Terrible 2's.

Catherine has her own ideas when it comes
to posing. This is one of her mean girl
impersonations. I think she has it down pat!
